William Smart is one of Australia’s most celebrated residential Architects, awarded AIA Robin Boyd Award for Residential Architecture, the AIA Wilkinson Award for Residential Architecture, the World Architecture Festival INSIDE Award for World’s Best Residential Interior, and winner of the Asia Pacific INDE The Luminary Award.
His eponymous practice, Smart Design Studio (SDS), also spans significant commercial, public, and heritage projects. Having delivered contemporary working environments for City of Sydney (Town Hall House), Saatchi and Saatchi, APRA, Woolworths Liquor Group (Readers Digest Building), and Channel 7, he is now embarking on his own ambitious workplace project – the new SDS Alexandria warehouse office at Stokes 14.
