“Social cohesion, grounded in compassion and mutual respect, is the key to true greatness for any society.”  Hugh Mackay, AO

In his 19th book, Australia Reimagined (PM), esteemed social researcher and generational expert Hugh Mackay takes an unflinching look at the state of our nation as rampant individualism, competitive materialism and all-consuming technology give rise to an unprecedented anxiety epidemic and an increasingly fragmented society.

Hugh joins our Insight panel this month and will drawing upon 60-years of social research to compare the cultural origins and ethos of the three currently dominant generations – Boomers, Gen X and Millennials – as well as share his predictions on the rising generation of post-millennials.
