Effie Zahos

With a Bachelor of Economics under her belt and seven years’ experience working for one of Australia’s ‘Big Four’ banks, Effie Zahos was hand-picked to work as senior researcher with Paul Clitheroe on Channel Nine’s Money program. Five years later she helped set up the spin-off Money magazine and she has helmed this brand for more than 21 years.

With her industry knowledge and practical financial know-how, Effie is a regular finance commentator on TV (Today Show and Today Extra,) and radio across Australia has penned two books of practical financial advice (The Great $20 Adventure, Getting Rich, Staying Rich), and is ambassador for Super Booster Day to encourage Australian’s to prepare for their future through additional contributions.
