Chinese-born Australian creative director, digital strategist, social entrepreneur, sustainability advocate, Danling Xiao embodies the multi-hyphenate working style of many of her generation.
Danling founded Mundane Matters as an avenue to voice for sustainable living through creativity. Launched in May 2015, Mundane Matters has appeared in more than 30 digital publications and TV channels around the world, including The Huffington Post Japan and Australia, Mashable and ABC International. Its work has been exhibited in Paris, Sydney and New York. Wasteland, Mundane Matters’ latest project is a 24-metre installation made from recycled marine debris collected from the Great Barrier Reef, funded by City of Sydney Art & About and exhibited at Customs House, Sydney.
